WEEK 5
Hi all. Well week 5 is here, and we are beginning a new unit of work in Maths. In regards to the Measurement unit, I was very pleased with most of the results achieved. Congratulations to those who worked hard and achieved highly.
The new unit is based on Probability. This looks at how likely it is that an event will happen. For example, if I want to draw the Ace of Spades out of a deck of cards, then the probability of me doing this on my first go is unlikely, because I have a 1 in 52 chance of drawing the card I want. Concepts like this are examples of how Mathematicians use probability in every day life.
You will receive your assessment task in class this week, and you be asked to play computer games as a part of this... stay tuned!

WEEK 8
Hi everyone. The focus in Maths for this week will again be work on probability. Most of the week will be taken up by assignment work, which will be due on WEDNESDAY the 1st of JUNE. Do not forget. There will be no exceptions as you have all had ample time in class to complete this task.

WEEK 9
Hello 6/7B and E. This week our Maths assessment is due. I have to have this Wednesday or before, NO EXCUSES!!! You also MUST HAVE A TASK SHEET ATTACHED. Time is running out to come and see me for help, so if you need anything come and see me as soon as possible. Please don't wait until Tuesday.
