WHAT IS SCIENCE?
According to Mr. Mike, science is a collection of knowledge based on facts, theories, and observations that pertain to our phyiscal Universe. There are many branches of science that we will study this term. This includes biology, physics, chemistry, and earth science to name a few.
UNIT OF INQUIRY:
This term we will be focusing on the unit of discovery.
Each week we will also be working on our practical skills in the laboratory and classroom.
HOMEWORK THIS TERM:
Ongoing homework for this term is to complete your practical reports.
Additional homework will be allocated on a need-to basis, and due dates for this will be seen in the homework section.
ASSESSMENT:
Will be based on practical lab reports and written work about inspirational people and careers in science.
